DESCRIPTION:This event is organised by Europeana Academy and takes place on 7 April 2026. \nThis course aims to help you understand the basics of copyright\, and to help you apply these concepts in order to determine if\, and which\, copyright exists in cultural heritage collections. Making such an identification is crucial for cultural heritage organisations to be able to successfully use\, give access to\, and enable the reuse of materials in their collections. \nThis course is particularly addressed at those working in cultural heritage institutions\, but can potentially also be useful to researchers\, teachers or creators wishing to use these materials (however\, note that it is not specialised for those audiences). \nVisit the event website to learn more about it and register.
