SUMMARY:Digital Heritage 2025
DESCRIPTION:The foundation of “Digital Heritage” as a conference dates back to 1998 and was formalized in 2013 as a critical platform for the intersection of digital technologies and cultural heritage. As a leading global event in that field\, “Digital Heritage” features workshops\, panels and tutorials as well as lectures and exhibitions. Professionals from all over the world and across domains will come together to debate the potentials and challenges of digital technology for cultural heritage. \nAfter the first three editions (2013\, 2015 and 2018) this year the conference will take place in Siena\, Italy from 8-13 September 2025. The call for paper is open\, you can find the specifications here. \nRegistration will be open on May 15\, 2025. In addition\, the draft programme for the conference is already online.

SUMMARY:Educators in the data space: a bottom-up approach

SUMMARY:3D-4CH Winter School
DESCRIPTION:The 3D-4Ch Winter School\, organised by the 3D-4CH Competence Centre\, will take place from 21st to 23rd January 2026 at the Royal Museums of Art and History in Brussels. \nThis three-day events will feature keynotes\, workshops and collaborative larning environments designed for cultural heritage professionals who want to deepen their 3D expertise concerning digitisation and technologies. It is organised in cooperation with the Twin it! Part II campaign by the Europeana Foundation and the European Commission. The event aims to strengthen the skills of CH professionals in emerging technologies connected to 3D. This shall support the digital shift on European level. \nThe Winter School is suitable for individuals and groups at the beginning of their digitisation journey as well as more advanced ones who want to explore the newest developments\, tools and best practices. \nIn September 2025\, 3D-4CH will publish the official Open Call with the programme details and information about registration and funding.
