DESCRIPTION:The conference will be held from September 24-27 in Ljubljana\, Slovenia and is hosted by the National and University Library of Slovenia. There will be the possibility to follow the event online\, but authors of accepted papers are encouraged to take part in-person. \nThe TPDL is an international forum focused on digital libraries and their associated technical\, practical\, and social issues. Zahlreiche Naturalien\, die sie von ihren Expeditionen mitgebracht hatte\, bereicherten die Bestände des k.k. Naturalienkabinetts. Darunter waren auch einige bisher unbekannte Arten. Der Vortragsabend beleuchtet Biographie und Forschungsleistungen der Wiener Weltreisenden und stellt sie in einen größeren historischen Kontext. \nDer Vortrag wird vom NHM Wien in Kooperation mit den Freunden des NHM Wien und der Anthropologischen Gesellschaft Wien organisiert.
