DESCRIPTION:This year’s IIIF Annual Conference & Showcase is\, as usual\, hosted by the IIIF consortium and takes place in different places around the Netherlands. The Showcase will be in Amsterdam\, while the actual conference on June 2-3 will be in Leiden. \nThe Showcase at the beginning of the event is meant as an introduction for newcomers and those interested in current use cases in IIIF. The conference in general is therefore suitable for everyone seeking to get into IIIF for the first time as well as more advanced professionals looking for new ideas and networking possibilities. \nThe preliminary conference program can be viewed here. \nVisit the IIIF website for more information!

DESCRIPTION:This event is organised by Europeana Academy and takes place on 3 June 2026. \nThe Metis Sandbox is a test environment for your data. It consists of a set of tools with which you can simulate ingesting and running the Metis workflow on your data\, see what your records would look like on Europeana.eu and get insight into the quality of your records. \nDuring the training you’ll mostly be working with data that we have prepared specifically for the purpose of this training. But you will also have the possibility to run your own data and analyse the results. If you are interested\, please prepare a collection of at most 50 records that satisfy EDM specifications. It is easiest if you have them ready as a zip file (one file per record). \nFind more information here.
