This event aims to celebrate the public domain and focus on the hardships that still sustain with opening up these materials. \nThe event is co-organised by meemoo and will take place in the Royal Library of Belgium (KBR) in Brussels. SUMMARY:3D-4CH Winter School
DESCRIPTION:The 3D-4Ch Winter School\, organised by the 3D-4CH Competence Centre\, will take place from 21st to 23rd January 2026 at the Royal Museums of Art and History in Brussels. \nThis three-day events will feature keynotes\, workshops and collaborative larning environments designed for cultural heritage professionals who want to deepen their 3D expertise concerning digitisation and technologies. It is organised in cooperation with the Twin it! Part II campaign by the Europeana Foundation and the European Commission. The event aims to strengthen the skills of CH professionals in emerging technologies connected to 3D. This shall support the digital shift on European level. \nThe Winter School is suitable for individuals and groups at the beginning of their digitisation journey as well as more advanced ones who want to explore the newest developments\, tools and best practices. \nIn September 2025\, 3D-4CH will publish the official Open Call with the programme details and information about registration and funding.

DESCRIPTION:The IIIF Consortium is organising an Online Meeting from Janurary 27-29 2026. It is intended for a wide range of participants that are interested in IIIF\, are at the beginning of their application journey or more advanced. The event is meant to provide an introduction to newcomers and to highlight new developments concerning the IIIF standard. It is also a place for discussion and dissemination for those with experience. \nThe event is completely free and registration will start in November 2025. The call for proposals is now open!

DESCRIPTION:This hybrid capacity building and demonstration event is organised by EUreka3D-XR and aims to provide insights into new tools and pilots working with 3D and XR technologies in the cultural heritage sector.
