DESCRIPTION:The event\, organised by Europeana\, focuses on the ongoing debates about gender neutral and inclusive language in cultural heritage institutions. It addresses the problem of historical collection descriptions and catalogue entries using discriminating language. \nFor that purpose the project DE-BIAS developed a tool to detect terms in collection and object descriptions that do not conform to the present understanding of gender and inclusivity anymore. \nThe webinar is aimed at the german cultural heritage sector and will also be held in german. \nFind more information on the event’s website or visit directly the registration website.
