The conference will be held from September 24-27 in Ljubljana, Slovenia and is hosted by the National and University Library of Slovenia. There will be the possibility to follow the event online, but authors of accepted papers are encouraged to take part in-person.

The TPDL is an international forum focused on digital libraries and their associated technical, practical, and social issues. It includes the whole spectrum of the LAM (libraries, archives, museums) community and the development of new technologies in this fields.

In this year’s conference there will be two new research areas to be discussed during the event: Document Analysis/Recognition and Information Retrieval.
