As the past project year came to a close, we would like to draw your attention to a blog post that was recently published on Europeana. In line with the theme of “Re-use,” which has been a recurring topic throughout the past year, we spoke with the founder of the regional fashion label “Peaces”.
Susanne Huber is an artist and designer from Styria who works with plants and other motifs from nature to create unique textile designs using screen printing technique. During a visit to her studio in Graz, we talked about her career, the current fashion industry and her thoughts on it, as well as the creation and inspiration behind her designs. This led to the blog post Peaces: fashion for peace, sustainability and social justice.
