Heritage Horizons: Europeana Project Week
November 25 @ 9:30 am - November 29 @ 12:30 pm
About Heritage Horizons: Europeana Project Week
The common European data space for cultural heritage is the European Commission’s flagship initiative to foster the creation and reuse of content in the cultural and creative sectors and accelerate the digital transformation of Europe’s cultural sector. Its achievements depend on the efforts and expertise of the data space consortium, led by the Europeana Initiative, but also on diverse and innovative projects which enrich and enhance the data space and cultural heritage sector.
The Heritage Horizons Europeana Project Week, taking place from 25 – 29 November 2024, will put the spotlight on these projects and their inspiring work. Project Week will showcase their efforts while facilitating collaboration and connection, accelerating knowledge sharing and shaping new project opportunities. Sessions will highlight the role of digital technologies in developing the data space, preserving and engaging with cultural heritage, advancing social inclusion, encouraging reuse and promoting sustainability.
