The Europeana Climate Action Community invites you to write a short story or poem with up to 500 words in response to the climate action gallery created for this purpose. The idea is to let the creativity flow and get inspiration from on or more chosen images. You can choose your native language for the text, but nevertheless provide a translation to English to make the content’s assessment possible.
With this action, Europeana aims to engage writers and creative thinkers with the topics of climate change and social crisis. Ultimatively, the texts shall provide ideas, hopes and potential directions for the future.
At the end there will be prizes and the publication of the texts for the winners. Check out the “Creative Climate Action Award Gallery” or visit Europeana for more information. Submit your content by 11 January 2026.
