The campaign #ColorOurCollections was first organised in 2018 and has recently opened this year’s call for the submission of your institution’s digital material’s in the form of a coloring book. From February 5-9, 2024, libraries, archives and other cultural institutions around the world can share coloring books based on their data. The results are free to download, print and share from the Homepage of The New York Academy of Medicine.
The coloring books from the past years can still be seen on the website and filtered by year or institution. If you follow this link you can find a list of this year’s participating institutions.
To support every institution that wants to experiment with their data, they set up a “Tools & Rescources” page where you can can follow the instructions towards converting your image materials. The registration for 2024 to send in your samples is still open and can be found under the following link.
